I am a licensed psychologist in the state of New York. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University Maryland. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Villanova University. Additionally, I completed the Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy certificate program at the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, and Psychology.
I have extensive experience working in university mental health settings. As such, I have special expertise in treating college and graduate students, young adults, and young professionals. I completed my doctoral internship at the Pace University Counseling Center and my post-doctoral fellowship at George Washington University's Mental Health Services. I was also a staff psychologist at New York University's Counseling and Wellness Services for over three years, where I provided individual and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, consultation, and supervision. In addition to my experience in university mental health, I have also provided a variety of clinical services in community mental health and hospital settings.
I offer individual psychotherapy to adults across the lifespan (age 18 and above). I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relationship & interpersonal concerns, self-concept & self-esteem issues, identity development issues, and family-of-origin issues.
